Our curriculum combines British Columbia's Early Childhood Education framework with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, to best prepare your child for school.

Our teaching methods are based on an Emergent Curriculum with the Emilia Reggio Approach: emphasize on holistic development of the child based on their interests and abilities. This curriculum is divided into 6 areas of interaction that represents what we teach our children.

The symbol of Young Explorers Preschool represents how we interweave all 6 areas to advance your child's development, learning and well-being holistically.

We implement the Jolly Phonics program for children from 3-years-old. This is a fun and child-centred approach to teach letter sounds systematically in an enjoyable, multi-sensory way and enable children to use them to read and write words.

We inspire curiosity, creativity and fun through hand-on learning of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) education.
