Our philosophy 

Young Explorers believes in supporting the growth and development of each child as a unique individual. We believe in providing a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Young Explorers Preschool and Childcare's mission is to nurture your child in an inspiring and caring environment: for them to develop to their fullest potential and to gain a sense of community where all children are equal.  

Mrs Banks follows the Emilia Reggio Approach to holistically develop each child. She has great pride ensuring school readiness in a secure, fun and educational environment.

She strongly believes that children are important members of society. So she helps them achieve to the best of their abilities, and become independent and responsible citizens through kindness and respect.

Mrs Banks has been a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator for 25 years.  She is a certified Early childhood Educator in Canada, the U.K., Denmark and Vietnam. She holds a Early childhood Educator, Special Needs Educator and Infant-Toddlers licence in British Columbia: registration number 58134.

She has been educating children in international preschools in Europe,Canada and kindergarten in Vietnam.

As a mother and an experienced Early Childhood Educator, Mrs Banks strives to provide the best learning environment and experience for children, with emphasis on their social, emotional, physical, intellectual, creative and nutritional development.  Her goal is for young explorers to develop their skills for independent learning when they start school
